The Golden
Eagle History
Golden
Eagle Log Home's history
is rooted in the building
supply/lumber yard business.
The Parmeter family opened
the doors of Golden Eagle
Building Supply in 1966.
As the years passed, the
Parmeter's began building
log homes as a natural extension
of their building supply
business. In 1983 the family
refocused its business to
meet the growing demand for
a true "Log Home Experience".
Golden
Eagle Log Homes has developed
a state-of-the-art facility
featuring an in-house Computer
Aided Design (CAD) and engineering
team of 12 professionals,
plus certified kitchen designers,
log milling, warehouse and
shipping operations.
What
this means for you is that
after designing your home,
Golden Eagle completes detailed,
engineered blueprints that
conform to the codes of your
locality. The majority of
the components that are specified
in the blueprints for your
home are then shipped from
the Golden Eagle warehouse
to ensure order accuracy
and component compatibility.
Because of this, you will
never call Golden Eagle with
a question about the blueprints
or materials and have the
'buck passed' to an outside
draftsman or lumber mill.
